Product Description
The TCI Super StreetFighter 211005 is a TH400 automatic transmission assembly for Chevrolet engine applications using a 4 in tailshaft. It is built as a bridge between the StreetFighter line and full competition transmissions, with extreme performance clutches, nitride steel plates, extra-wide power bands, larger diameter servos, and a chrome plated transmission pan with an embossed TCI logo.
This transmission is intended for normally aspirated vehicles producing up to 875 hp, depending on application. Higher line pressure, increased thrust capacity, improved lubrication, and stronger band apply are used to deliver firmer shifts, greater torque capacity, and reduced slippage under harder street and strip use.
The unit is supplied without a torque converter and without lock-up, so converter selection can be matched to the build. The improved lubrication system sends more fluid to the planetaries and internals, while the included chrome pan adds a clean finished look. Oversized freight restrictions and additional charges may apply.
