Product Description

The TCI StreetFighter 241001 is a non-lock-up torque converter for GM TH350 and TH400 transmissions. It uses a 10 in diameter, dual bolt pattern, 3000 to 3400 RPM stall range, furnace-brazed fins, needle bearings, a hardened pre-ground pump hub, and an anti-ballooning plate for higher RPM street and strip combinations.

This converter is aimed at more radically prepared street machines with performance cams, aftermarket carburetors, and higher compression ratios. The higher stall range helps bring launch RPM closer to the engine’s powerband, supporting harder launches, quicker reaction times, lower elapsed times, and stronger low and mid-range power.

The anti-ballooning plate, hardened hub, and furnace-brazed construction give the converter durability for more aggressive use. It is balanced and built with a dual bolt pattern for GM TH350 and TH400 applications. Warranty coverage is limited to 30 days for racing use and 90 days for street or strip use.
