This Borgeson upper intermediate steering shaft is a heavy-duty telescopic steel replacement for supported 2000-2007 Chevrolet and GMC truck applications. It connects the factory column to the lower steering shaft and uses a 3/4 in steel shaft with an included universal joint.
The shaft targets the clunking or ratcheting steering feel common on these trucks. Its smooth telescopic design absorbs flex between the body and chassis, while the heavy-duty billet steel universal joint creates a precise connection from the steering column to the lower shaft.
The shaft is made in the USA and backed by a limited 5 year or 50,000 mile warranty. It is built for two-joint systems, includes a vibration reducing universal joint, and does not require welding on supported applications.
