Product Description

This Borgeson steel telescopic steering shaft is built for 1974-1991 Jeep SJ power steering applications. It connects the factory steering column to the steering box. The shaft combines telescopic design, precision needle-bearing u-joints, 1 in diameter to keep the steering link solid under normal driving and enthusiast use.

It addresses the extra stress that body lifts and oversized tires can place on the original steering shaft. The direct-fit layout keeps the upgrade focused on steering feel, connection strength, and reduced play without turning the repair into a custom steering project.

Installation is designed around common hand tools. It is backed by a limited 5 yr / 50k warranty.
