Product Description

This Borgeson power steering conversion box is built for 1952-1964 full-size Ford car applications. The remanufactured cast iron power steering gear box uses a 14:1 ratio, a 1-1/8 in sector diameter, a 36-spline input, and a modern variable valve for stable highway driving and easier parking maneuvers.

The conversion box bolts directly to the factory mounting location and fits the stock steering linkage without frame interference or frame modification. It replaces the factory control valve setup with an integral power steering gearbox to give classic full-size Ford cars a more modern steering feel and feedback.

The factory column must be shortened for conversion box clearance. It is not recommended for 3-speed manual column shift cars, will not fit with factory clutch linkage, and factory power steering cars require either a drag link adapter or a manual steering center link.
