Product Description

Mishimoto MMRT-WRX-08E is an aluminum coolant expansion tank upgrade for 2008-2014 Subaru WRX and related supported turbo Subaru applications. It replaces the factory plastic-style tank with a stronger metal reservoir built to handle repeated heat cycling.

22 percent greater capacity than the stock plastic expansion tank, fully welded aluminum construction, and leak-free welded CNC barb fittings. Those details make it a practical upgrade for tuned or enthusiast-driven Subaru builds where cooling-system reliability and engine-bay durability matter. The polished finish also gives the visible engine-bay component a more finished performance appearance. It is still simple enough for a focused cooling-system refresh.

This coolant tank is vehicle-specific for the supported Subaru fitment range. It should be selected by application, not treated as a universal reservoir.
