Product Description

Mishimoto MMRT-WRX-01E is an aluminum coolant expansion tank upgrade for Subaru WRX, STI, and related turbo Subaru applications using the confirmed fitment range. It replaces the stock plastic-style expansion tank with a stronger metal tank built for repeated heat cycling.

50 percent greater capacity than the stock plastic expansion tank, fully welded aluminum construction, and leak-free welded barb fittings. For modified turbo Subarus, that extra capacity and stronger construction are useful when engine-bay heat, repeated cold starts, and spirited driving expose the cooling system to more stress than normal commuting.

This is a vehicle-specific coolant tank. Fitment is centered on supported Subaru WRX/STI and related turbo Subaru applications, so it should not be treated as a universal reservoir.
