MagnaFlow California Universal Catalytic Converter 445006 is a CARB-compliant emissions component for confirmed applications that require a weld-in universal converter. It is built with stainless steel construction, an expert catalyst blend, and a compact low-mass body to support efficient emissions control while resisting corrosion and heat cycling.

The clam-shell body uses pipe-connection inlet and outlet ends sized at 2.5 in, with 409 stainless tubing and durable 308 stainless MIG welds. MagnaFlow also highlights a single laser-fusion weld to reduce leak potential and a compact shape that can fit tighter exhaust routing than larger converter bodies.

This is a universal weld-in converter, not a bolt-on direct-fit assembly. Match the pipe diameter, CARB EO D-193-172, sensor-port layout, and listed application requirements before purchase.
