Product Description

The AWE Track Edition is a cat-back exhaust for the VW MK8 Golf R, handcrafted from CNC mandrel-bent 3” and 2.5” U.S.-sourced .065”-wall T304L stainless steel. A slip-fit inlet adapter ensures perfect fitment with the factory downpipe while leaving a clean 3” connection open for future aftermarket upgrades. Dyno-verified gains of +4 whp and +1 lb-ft of torque at the wheels.

A single bullet resonator replaces a full muffler, allowing a full-bodied aggressive soundtrack at all throttle positions without valve actuation — driving mode changes have no effect on the exhaust note, delivering consistent character regardless of mode selection. Four individually adjustable 4.5” double-walled slash-cut tips in diamond black complete the build. AWE’s No CEL Guarantee and Lifetime Warranty included. Conversion kits are available to swap between Track and Touring editions.
