Product Description
The AWE Track Edition Axle-Back for the C7 Corvette is built from 3 in CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel with a .065 in wall, handcrafted in-house at AWE's Pennsylvania facility. The design routes straight-through from the catalytic converters to the 4.5 in double-walled Chrome Silver slash-cut tips with no muffler in the route - just clean stainless pipe and open flow. AWE AFM Valve Simulators are included in every kit, covering all AFM-equipped trims: Stingray, Z51 Auto/Manual (2014-2016), and Grand Sport Auto.
At the wheels, the Track Edition delivers peak gains of 18 hp and 16 lb-ft of torque on the C7, with max figures of 22 hp at 6,400 rpm and 20 lb-ft at 4,000 rpm. The straight-through, mufflerless design also shaves significant weight versus the factory system. Every unit is backed by AWE's Lifetime Exhaust Warranty and a No CEL Guarantee - valid even on AFM-equipped cars running the included Valve Simulators.
The Track Edition uses straight-pipe sections instead of AWE's 180 Technology resonators, so there is nothing filtering the tone. The result is aggressive - loud under mid-range acceleration, loud at highway speed. AWE does not accept returns on Track Edition exhausts based on sound preference. If you later need to dial it back, AWE's Conversion Kit lets you switch to a Touring Edition without replacing the full system.
