This Borgeson power steering conversion kit is built for 1967-1982 Chevrolet Corvette applications with factory power steering. The kit centers on a remanufactured GM Delphi 600 integral power steering gearbox with a sporty 12.7:1 ratio and modern power steering feel and feedback.

The conversion eliminates leaky factory power steering control valves and slave cylinders while reducing turns lock-to-lock. Borgeson describes the kit as a mostly bolt-on installation, with the gearbox bolting directly to the factory mounting location and fitting the stock pitman arm.

The kit includes the 12.7:1 Delphi 600 power steering box, hoses, drag link adapter, and rag joint for cars with a 1 in-48 spline column. The factory column must be collapsed or shortened 1-2 in for conversion box clearance, and a drag link adapter is required for cars with factory-style power steering.
