The TCI 242950 is a 4L80E/6X high-stall triple-disc bolt-together torque converter with a 3000 to 3200 RPM stall range. It features woven-carbon friction, lock-up control technology, a removable billet front, pre-hardened steel construction, and internal access for the lock-up assembly, turbine, stator, and bearings.

The bolt-together design supports servicing or re-stalling if future vehicle modifications change converter requirements. The billet front is CNC-machined from pre-hardened steel, while the pre-hardened billet turbine hub, lock-up piston, and 50-spline clutch hub add strength in key converter areas.

The converter is fully furnace-brazed, computer-balanced, and hand-assembled to precise tolerances. Its triple-disc lock-up layout and serviceable billet-front construction make it a serious option for builds that need a high-stall 4L80E/6X converter with room for future changes.
