This Borgeson 14:1 power steering conversion box is built for 1952-1964 full-size Ford cars. The remanufactured cast iron gear box uses a modern variable valve for stable highway driving and easier parking maneuvers. The box bolts directly to the factory mounting location and fits the stock steering linkage without frame interference or frame modification. It replaces the old control-valve layout with an integral steering box for a more modern classic-Ford steering feel. The factory column must be shortened for conversion box clearance. It is not recommended for 3-speed manual column shift cars, will not fit with factory clutch linkage, and factory power steering cars require either a drag link adapter or a manual steering center link.
