Product Description

The TCI 242950 is a bolt-together triple-disc torque converter for 4L80E and 6X applications. It uses woven-carbon friction material, lock-up control technology, a CNC-machined billet front, pre-hardened steel construction, a billet turbine hub, lock-up piston, and 50-spline clutch hub.

This converter is built for demanding high-stall applications with a 3000 to 3200 RPM stall range. The removable billet front gives service access to the lock-up assembly, turbine, stator, and bearings for future servicing or re-stalling when the vehicle combination changes.

TCI notes that no single-disc option is available for this converter. For accurate stall range, TCI recommends checking the full vehicle setup, including weight, engine displacement, power adders, rear gear ratio, and tire diameter.
