The TCI Maximizer Street 241602 is a non-lock-up torque converter for GM TH400, TH425, and TH375 transmissions. It is built for towing and truck use with a 1600 to 2000 RPM stall range, wide bolt pattern, balanced construction, anti-ballooning plate, extra reinforcement, tougher turbine splines, and thicker mounting surfaces.

This converter is made for modified off-road 4x4 trucks and daily-driven trucks that need better initial takeoff without lugging the engine on big tires. The added stall range helps match the converter to the truck’s power range, while the reinforced construction is intended to handle additional drivetrain load and vibration.

TCI notes improved rear wheel horsepower and elapsed times as a result of this converter design. The wide bolt pattern and anti-ballooning plate are key fitment and strength details to verify before purchase. Warranty coverage is limited to 30 days for racing use and 90 days for street or strip use.
