Borgeson Lower Steering Shaft Jeep TJ Power Steering 000875

This Borgeson steel lower steering shaft is built for 1997-2002 Jeep TJ power steering applications. It connects the steering box to either the factory upper shaft or a Borgeson upper shaft. The shaft combines telescopic design, precision needle-bearing u-joints, 3/4 in diameter to keep the steering link solid under normal driving and enthusiast use. It addresses the extra stress that body lifts and oversized tires can place on the original steering shaft. The direct-fit layout keeps the upgrade focused on steering feel, connection strength, and reduced play without turning the repair into a custom steering project. Installation is designed around common hand tools. The assembly is made in the USA. It is backed by a limited 5 yr / 50k warranty.
