This Borgeson steel extreme duty telescopic steering shaft is built for 1979-1993 Dodge truck two-joint systems. It connects the factory steering column to the steering box. The shaft combines telescopic design, billet steel universal joints, 3/4 in diameter to keep the steering link solid under normal driving and enthusiast use. It eliminates the factory rag joint weakness with a heavier-duty jointed assembly for firmer steering response. The direct-fit layout keeps the upgrade focused on steering feel, connection strength, and reduced play without turning the repair into a custom steering project. Installation is designed around common hand tools. The assembly is made in the USA. It is backed by a limited 5 yr / 50k warranty.
