This Borgeson steel telescopic steering shaft is built for 1979-1991 Chevy and GMC truck manual steering applications. It connects the factory steering column to the steering box. The shaft combines telescopic design, precision needle-bearing u-joints, 3/4 in diameter to keep the steering link solid under normal driving and enthusiast use. It is built to correct loose, wandering steering caused by worn factory steering shaft components. The direct-fit layout keeps the upgrade focused on steering feel, connection strength, and reduced play without turning the repair into a custom steering project.
