Product Description

The TCI Maximizer Street 241602 is a non-lock-up torque converter for GM TH400, TH425, and TH375 transmissions. It is built for modified 4x4 truck applications with extra reinforcement, tougher turbine splines, thicker mounting surfaces, wide bolt pattern, and an anti-ballooning plate.

This converter provides a 1600 to 2000 RPM stall range to help trucks take off more cleanly, especially when larger tires increase drivetrain load. TCI positions it for trucks that do double duty as off-road builds and daily drivers.

The reinforced construction is intended to handle the extra load and vibration found in modified truck drivetrains. TCI also notes improved rear wheel horsepower and elapsed times as part of the Maximizer Street converter design.
