The AWE SwitchPath™ Axle back brings patented drone-canceling 180 Technology(R) for your vehicle, delivering a tone that’s clean, deep, and composed while cruising but rowdy when you want it to be. The SwitchPath™ Axle back is engineered to begin at the factory cut point, making it compatible with the stock mid-section or any aftermarket mid-pipe that respects the OEM cut point. By controlling the size and location of the ports and the chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies. The Non-Resonated Performance Mid Pipes are engineered to begin right behind the factory secondary catalysts, and they’re compatible with both the factory axle back and any system that aligns with the OEM cut point.
