Shipping policy

Modridge currently ships within the United States. Shipping availability, available delivery methods, and the final shipping charge are displayed at checkout before payment.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are determined by the products in your order, their shipping requirements, and the delivery address.

  • Standard Ground Shipping: $14.99 for qualifying orders under $150.
  • Free Standard Ground Shipping: Available on qualifying orders of $150 or more.
  • Oversized Ground Shipping: A separate oversized shipping charge is shown at checkout when applicable.
  • Freight Shipping: Large or heavy products may require truck freight delivery. The applicable freight charge is shown at checkout.

Free standard shipping applies only to the standard-shipping portion of a qualifying order. Oversized ground and freight charges are not waived by the free-shipping threshold.

If an order contains products from different shipping classes, Shopify may combine the applicable shipping charges into one total shipping amount at checkout.

Order Processing

In-stock orders usually ship within 1–3 business days after the order is placed and payment and order details are verified.

Processing time is the time required to prepare and release an order for shipment. It is not the estimated delivery time.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing on the next business day. Some orders may require additional time for payment verification, address verification, inventory confirmation, carrier scheduling, or fraud review.

Product Availability

Product availability is based on the most recent inventory information available to us. Inventory can change before an order is processed, and placing an order does not guarantee that inventory has been reserved.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we may:

  • Fulfill the order from another authorized distribution source;
  • Provide an updated estimated shipping date;
  • Offer an available alternative, subject to your approval; or
  • Cancel the affected item and issue a refund.

We will contact you if action is required before the order can proceed.

Delivery Time

Delivery time varies based on the product, warehouse location, shipping method, carrier, destination, and current carrier conditions.

Any delivery estimate is an estimate only and is not a guaranteed delivery date. Carrier delays caused by weather, transportation disruptions, holidays, regional service issues, or other events outside our control may affect delivery.

Carriers and Warehouse Locations

Orders may ship through UPS, FedEx, USPS, a regional carrier, or a freight carrier. Products may ship from different warehouse locations depending on availability.

Modridge may select the available fulfillment source and carrier used to complete an order. The customer-facing shipping method and charge confirmed at checkout will not be increased after the order is placed unless the customer requests a change that creates an additional charge.

Multiple and Split Shipments

An order containing multiple products may arrive in more than one shipment. Products may ship from different warehouses or on different dates.

When an order is split into multiple shipments, tracking information may be provided separately for each shipment. A partial shipment does not mean that the remaining items have been canceled.

Tracking Information

Tracking information is provided when it becomes available from the warehouse or carrier. Tracking activity may take up to 24–48 hours to appear after a label is created.

Freight shipments may use a PRO number or another freight reference instead of a standard parcel tracking number.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including any apartment, suite, unit, business name, access instructions, and a working telephone number when required for freight delivery.

Some products cannot be shipped to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, U.S. territories, Alaska, Hawaii, or locations restricted by the carrier, manufacturer, product type, or applicable law. Checkout availability is determined by the delivery address and the products in the order.

Address Changes

Contact us immediately if a shipping address needs to be changed.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or has been released to a warehouse or carrier. Carrier rerouting, address correction, reshipment, or return-to-sender fees caused by an incorrect or changed address may be charged to the customer.

For security reasons, we may require an order to be canceled and placed again when a material address change is requested.

Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible. An order is not canceled until Modridge confirms the cancellation.

We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has been submitted to a warehouse, prepared for shipment, assigned tracking, or shipped.

If an order has already shipped, it must be handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy. Original shipping charges and any return shipping, carrier interception, freight, or restocking costs may be non-refundable.

Delayed Shipments

If tracking shows that a shipment is delayed but still moving through the carrier network, additional transit time may be required before a carrier investigation can be opened.

Modridge is not responsible for carrier delays outside our control, but we will assist with available tracking information and carrier inquiries.

Lost or Missing Shipments

If tracking has not updated for an unusual period, or a shipment appears to be lost, contact us with your order number. We will review the shipment and, where appropriate, open a trace or claim with the carrier.

A refund or replacement is not automatically issued while a carrier investigation is pending. Resolution depends on the carrier’s findings, delivery records, product availability, and the circumstances of the shipment.

Packages Marked as Delivered

If tracking shows delivered but the package cannot be located:

  • Check the delivery location, mailbox, garage, side doors, front desk, mailroom, and surrounding property;
  • Ask household members, neighbors, building staff, or business receiving personnel;
  • Allow up to one additional business day, as some carriers scan packages before final delivery; and
  • Contact us promptly if the package remains missing.

We may request additional information or documentation before opening a carrier claim.

Damaged Parcel Shipments

Inspect all parcel shipments as soon as they are delivered.

If a package or product arrives damaged, contact us promptly and provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Photos of the shipping box and shipping label;
  • Photos of all visible packaging damage;
  • Photos of the damaged product and affected components; and
  • A description of the damage and any missing parts.

Keep the product, original box, internal packaging, labels, and all shipping materials until the claim is resolved. Do not install, use, repair, modify, or discard a damaged product unless instructed by Modridge.

Freight and LTL Delivery

Large, heavy, or non-parcel products may ship by truck freight or less-than-truckload freight, also known as LTL.

The freight carrier may contact you to schedule delivery. A valid telephone number is required. Missed appointments, inaccessible delivery locations, storage, redelivery, address correction, or other customer-caused carrier charges may be billed to the customer.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, freight delivery does not include installation, assembly, unpacking, disposal of packaging, or placement inside a home, garage, or building.

Freight Inspection Requirements

You must inspect every freight shipment before signing the delivery receipt or bill of lading.

Before accepting the shipment:

  • Confirm the number of boxes, pallets, or pieces;
  • Inspect the packaging and product for dents, punctures, tears, crushing, missing straps, broken pallets, or other visible damage;
  • Photograph the shipment before it is unloaded or moved when possible; and
  • Note all visible damage or missing items clearly on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before signing.

Do not sign a freight delivery receipt as clear or undamaged when visible damage is present.

If the driver does not allow sufficient time for inspection, write “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION” on the delivery receipt and request the driver’s acknowledgment before signing.

Visible Freight Damage

Visible freight damage or shortages must be documented on the delivery receipt or bill of lading at the time of delivery.

Contact Modridge immediately after delivery with the signed delivery document, photos, order number, and a description of the damage or shortage.

Failure to document visible damage at delivery may limit or prevent recovery from the freight carrier.

Concealed Freight Damage

Damage that was not visible at delivery must be reported to Modridge within 48 hours of delivery.

Keep all packaging, pallets, labels, wrapping, straps, and damaged components. Photos of the packaging and product are required.

Do not install, use, repair, modify, or discard the product while a concealed-damage claim is under review.

Refused Deliveries

Do not refuse a shipment solely because the packaging appears damaged unless the product is clearly destroyed, unsafe to unload, or Modridge instructs you to refuse it.

Refused deliveries that are not caused by a confirmed shipping error or severe transit damage may be treated as an unauthorized return.

Original shipping charges, return freight, carrier fees, storage charges, address correction fees, and applicable restocking fees may be deducted from the refund.

Incorrect or Missing Items

If the wrong product is delivered, or an item or component is missing, contact us before installing or using any part of the shipment.

Provide your order number, photos of everything received, the shipping label, packaging, product labels, and a description of the issue.

Modridge will review the order and arrange the appropriate resolution based on the circumstances and product availability.

Restricted Shipments

Certain products may be restricted because of hazardous-material rules, carrier limitations, emissions requirements, state regulations, product dimensions, or other legal or operational restrictions.

We may cancel and refund an item that cannot legally or safely be shipped to the provided address.

Shipping Charges and Refunds

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable after an order has shipped.

Shipping charges may be refunded when the shipment resulted from a confirmed Modridge error or where required by applicable law. Return shipping, freight, and other costs are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy.
